Product Description

20% Salicylic Acid Peel
with Bearberry, Kojic Acid, Vitamin C, Mulberry, Licorice & Retinol

No Neutralizer Needed............ Salicylic is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) which means it is self-neutralizing. It is not necessary to use a neutralizer with Salicylic Acid peels.

Size: 1 oz e 30 mL
Salicylic Acid is a Beta-Hydroxy-Acid (BHA) that is most commonly used to eliminate acne, but offers so much more benefits for the skin! Today the top spas and respected dermatologists have incorporated the use of salicylic acid peels for improving the appearance of aging and sun damaged skin.

Salicylic Acid….Peels Away Rough, Scarred Skin
The term chemical peel can sometimes be a bit misleading to those who are not familiar with the process. Many people do not realize that not all chemical peels will result in visible peeling. Low percentages of lactic or glycolic acid will not cause the skin to peel. However, if you desire to carefully erase layers of your problematic skin, then the salicylic peel is the way to go. The 20% salicylic peel will shed the top layer of the skin. As the old skin is sloughed off, the new, fresh, smoother skin underneath is revealed.  If you desire to remove dark marks, wrinkles, sun damage, enlarged pores, acne scars or rough skin texture, then this salicylic peel is the ideal choice.

The Most Effective Peel for Acne
Acne is formed when excessive oils and dead skin cells block the pores and encourage bacteria. Salicylic Acid penetrates the skin to remove all the dirt, dead skin cells, and sebum that have clogged the pores and caused unsightly acne. It cleanses the skin while providing superior exfoliation. As the salicylic destroys the debris, you will find that acne is eliminated and its chance of recurrence significantly reduced.

Will my Skin Peel?
If this is your first peel and your skin has a lot of accumulated dead skin cells and debris, then you should expect visible skin peeling from the 20%  Salicylic Acid peel. As you conduct additional peels in the future you may notice that there is less (or no) peeling as there is less dead skin and sebum to remove.

Directions…..Easy to Apply
This peel is designed for easy, at-home application. You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars at spas and medical offices to get the benefits of a chemical peel. A detailed instructional brochure, with easy to follow directions is included in each box.

DIRECTIONS

1. Cleanse the treatment area

2. Apply the chemical peel and leave on for the recommended time

3. Rinse the treatment area with cold water (you do not need to use a neutralizer with salicylic acid. It is a BHA so it is self-neutralizing)

4. Apply moisturizer

5. Use sunscreen

  1. Leave it On Much Longer Than Recommended

Posted by Danny M on 8th Dec 2014

OMG I love this stuff! If you want to get the results that you would get at a dermatologist's office, leave this peel on much longer than is recommend.

After just leaving it on for 10-30 seconds every 14 days I wasn't getting a "real" peel. I decided to leave it on for 20 minutes....just to see what it would do. It finally did the job!!! 3 days after my 20 minute session, my skin started peeling off, over and over again and began revealing really smooth skin and the pores began to draw up smaller! Great product!

  2. Great Once A Week Pel

    Posted by Vee1975 on 4th Dec 2014

I can see the benefits to my skin; about half way through bottle, use about once a week, very mild peel (but I've done a years worth of professional peels).

  3. It Burns so be careful

Posted by Tameka on 1st Dec 2014

Please be careful with this product! Do a skin test first on a small area of your face to see how your skin reacts... I applied this product for less than a minute and my face was burning severely, even after rinsing it still burned. So please be careful and apply with caution!

  4. Best Treamnt foAcne

Posted by Carol R on 28th Nov 2014

In my early 40s, medium complexion. I have combination skin and blackheads, mostly on my chin and nose. Also I dislike the larger pores on my upper cheeks. Salicylic Acid is working great at minimizing the blackheads! I saturate a small piece of cotton ball, and apply to my face as directed for about five minutes. I am used to the tingling, but those sensitive to the burn may find relief using a tabletop fan to cool the face. The pores and blackheads shrink after I use this. Occasionally a whitehead or two will pop up during the treatment, which tells me that the acid is doing its job of bringing the bad stuff to surface. In about three days post use, my skin will have some dry patches or other bumps. I continue to moisturize and one week out, my skin looks much improved - clear with shrunken pores. Also, when I feel one of those hard bump pimples starting to rise, I use a cotton swab to apply the peel to the pimple, and it is reduced almost completely overnight. I alternate between full face application and spot application to specific areas only, because I'm not an aesthetician and don't want to overdo it. Bottom line: This is an excellent treatment for clearing up blemish-prone skin and maintaining a clearer complexion.

  5. Gets Rid of Balckheads

Posted by Yolanda on 26th Nov 2014

I am so happy with this product. I have very mild acne but lots of blackheads. I have been using this on and off for the past two years. At first, it stung so much but now, I can handle the max amount of time easily. One problem I have is blackheads on my body that I can never extract. I have had one for over a year and after using this twice in a week, I noticed after the second time that the blackhead seemed to be dried up. So, decided to take my chances with extraction again and was able to squeeze a bit out and use a pair of tweezers to pull the entire comodone out. Success!!

  6. Does What it Says

Posted by Luzanne on 23rd Nov 2014

I really have enjoyed using this product. The first time I tried it I could only leave it on a short time but, as time has passed and I have continued to use it, my skin tolerates longer exposure. This product leaves my skin so soft and I really think the treatment is similar to what I could find with a doctor or a high-end spa. I am in my fifties and I can see a real difference in my skin since I started using this great product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make a difference in their skin care.

  7. Really Works

Posted by Edmund on 20th Nov 2014

Great product. I definitely noticed a change of skin texture for the better. I have been applying it once a week and lately my skin has not only cleared up but also looks and feels much smoother than it has been for a while

  8. Mircle Peel for Acne

Posted by Nyla J on 20th Nov 2014

This product is a miracle! It helped me get rid of annoying, embarrassing acne blemishes on my face and back. I'll definitely be purchasing this again.

  9. Great Beginner Peel

Posted by Nandi C on 17th Nov 2014

What can I say about this peel? It is a quality product for a reasonable price. When used according to its directions I experienced a significant reduction in my breakouts and smoother skin. It even faded some of my sun freckles.

I have aramel sensitive skin and I gradually worked my way up in application time. I applied it to my nose and forehead first and let it sit for awhile before I applied it to the more delicate areas, such as near my eyes.

Being that it is a peel I did experience a few days of flaky skin (especially in the previously sensitive areas), but nothing that a good facial moisturizer couldn't handle. The momentary annoyance was worth it for me.

I would recommend it as a nice beginner peel for combination/oily skin.

  10. Not Perfect Yet But Getting there

Posted by Lisa F on 13th Nov 2014

My skin is not perfect yet, but It looks way better then before. Only has been 3 weeks since my first peel. Also, if you do experience a lot more dryness, make sure you use a good moisturizer after you wash your face everyday. You do not want your face to be really dry, sometimes that will make you breakout more if your body is trying to re moisturize your dry skin with more oil.
