Product Description

20% Salicylic Acid Peel
with Bearberry, Kojic Acid, Vitamin C, Mulberry, Licorice & Retinol

No Neutralizer Needed............ Salicylic is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) which means it is self-neutralizing. It is not necessary to use a neutralizer with Salicylic Acid peels.

Size: 1 oz e 30 mL
Salicylic Acid is a Beta-Hydroxy-Acid (BHA) that is most commonly used to eliminate acne, but offers so much more benefits for the skin! Today the top spas and respected dermatologists have incorporated the use of salicylic acid peels for improving the appearance of aging and sun damaged skin.

Salicylic Acid….Peels Away Rough, Scarred Skin
The term chemical peel can sometimes be a bit misleading to those who are not familiar with the process. Many people do not realize that not all chemical peels will result in visible peeling. Low percentages of lactic or glycolic acid will not cause the skin to peel. However, if you desire to carefully erase layers of your problematic skin, then the salicylic peel is the way to go. The 20% salicylic peel will shed the top layer of the skin. As the old skin is sloughed off, the new, fresh, smoother skin underneath is revealed.  If you desire to remove dark marks, wrinkles, sun damage, enlarged pores, acne scars or rough skin texture, then this salicylic peel is the ideal choice.

The Most Effective Peel for Acne
Acne is formed when excessive oils and dead skin cells block the pores and encourage bacteria. Salicylic Acid penetrates the skin to remove all the dirt, dead skin cells, and sebum that have clogged the pores and caused unsightly acne. It cleanses the skin while providing superior exfoliation. As the salicylic destroys the debris, you will find that acne is eliminated and its chance of recurrence significantly reduced.

Will my Skin Peel?
If this is your first peel and your skin has a lot of accumulated dead skin cells and debris, then you should expect visible skin peeling from the 20%  Salicylic Acid peel. As you conduct additional peels in the future you may notice that there is less (or no) peeling as there is less dead skin and sebum to remove.

Directions…..Easy to Apply
This peel is designed for easy, at-home application. You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars at spas and medical offices to get the benefits of a chemical peel. A detailed instructional brochure, with easy to follow directions is included in each box.

DIRECTIONS

1. Cleanse the treatment area

2. Apply the chemical peel and leave on for the recommended time

3. Rinse the treatment area with cold water (you do not need to use a neutralizer with salicylic acid. It is a BHA so it is self-neutralizing)

4. Apply moisturizer

5. Use sunscreen

  1. Pretty Darn Good!

Posted by Mermaid on 8th Feb 2015

I have had professional peels and I get a facial once a month. I started to use this peel once a week because I was nervous about over exfoliating my face. It really is not difficult to use and it was gentle for my skin; this may be because I have had peels done before. Since I started using this product my face is glowing and I have fewer breakouts. I don't feel a need to get monthly facials, although I may continue because I emjoy them. I would recommend this product to anyone who does not want to pay for facials and wants to improve their skin without using harsh acne medications. I think in the long run, a person will get a better overall result with using peels and masks than with using acne meds.

  2. Flawless Skin!

Posted by Fine Diva on 5th Feb 2015

Use this once a month and your skin will be flawless! It has improved my complexion and reduced dark spots I had because it kicked out the dead cells and facilitated new skin cells to make my face smooth and blemish free. I wash this off with cool water and witch hazel. I also use the Vitamin c serum to hydrate my skin.

  3. Esay to Use

Posted by Barbara on 2nd Feb 2015

I really loved this product. It is very easy to use and the directions are clear which is important to me. I noticed a beautiful difference the very first time I used it. I only left it on for 2 minutes the first time as this was my first home peel. I have increased that time a little bit as per the directions. I have used this about 3 times and the results are great each and every time. Very reliable and consistent product that does exactly what it says it will.

  4. Works for Me & My Daughter

Posted by Karen on 31st Dec 2014

I bought this for my daughter who has a bad acne problem. I have been using this peel on her at least once a week. The results were amazing after the 4th peel. I would highly recommend this product for those with acne problems.

I also used it a couple of times on my own dry, aging skin, and after the first peel, my face was smooth and glowing.

  5. Excellent Poduct Will Buy Again

Posted by Jenna on 29th Dec 2014

This is a very effective product. I was suffering from over sized pores, dull skin and blackheads that I just couldn't get rid of. I gave my skin a break from all cream and retinoids for 2 days prior to using the peel to avoid sensitivity or a reaction. I washed my face and dried it thoroughly then placed about a pea size amount onto a cotton ball. I swiped it gently starting with my cheeks then forehead, nose and chin then made a 2nd pass on my upper cheek problem area again. I only waited 45 seconds from the first swipe and there was mild burning but nothing terrible. I rinsed it off with lots of water. My skin looked immediacy fresher, some very mild peeling in my chin the following day and about a 30% reduction in blocked pores of any kind. I will use this every week and update this review but so far it's done exactly what I wanted

  6. No Results

Posted by Ganesh on 26th Dec 2014

Nothing happened even though I followed the directions. Did I get a bad batch??

  7. Freshens the Face

Posted by Tammy on 22nd Dec 2014

For the purpose of giving your face a new look, it is great. It does burn, can't get around that. But it does what it says, and I would recommend having lotion nearby after using it to apply and cool down your face.

  8. Didnt Clear Up My Skin

Posted by George on 19th Dec 2014

Worked ok, very strong.. but didn't provide the results I was looking for. Easy to use, but it didn't "clear my skin up" by any means. Do I need to use it several times? When is this supposed to work?

  9. Burns Like Hell But Gets the Job Done

Posted by Hillary NY on 15th Dec 2014

Once a week I use this peel and wow...it's great. Yes...it burns like crazy. Actually, I can handle the burning for the 8 minutes. It just feels hot and slightly stings.

I typically leave my face under a stream of running water for about a minute to get it all off. Best thing to do is take your shower after your minutes are up and rinse off in the shower.

But ahhhh...after the pain subsides your face will feel soft and soOo clean. Feels like it's sucking and killing all the bacteria and after three-four weeks of using it now my chins is completely CLEAR!

  10. Works Wonders for skin

Posted by gina k on 11th Dec 2014

I have been applying it every night whenever I feel a zit coming and lately my skin has not only cleared up but also looks and feels much smoother than it has been for a while.

The combination of these products are working wonders for my skin, and for the low cost, it would be my first recommendation for anyone with acne skin problems
