Product Description

20% Salicylic Acid Peel
with Bearberry, Kojic Acid, Vitamin C, Mulberry, Licorice & Retinol

No Neutralizer Needed............ Salicylic is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) which means it is self-neutralizing. It is not necessary to use a neutralizer with Salicylic Acid peels.

Size: 1 oz e 30 mL
Salicylic Acid is a Beta-Hydroxy-Acid (BHA) that is most commonly used to eliminate acne, but offers so much more benefits for the skin! Today the top spas and respected dermatologists have incorporated the use of salicylic acid peels for improving the appearance of aging and sun damaged skin.

Salicylic Acid….Peels Away Rough, Scarred Skin
The term chemical peel can sometimes be a bit misleading to those who are not familiar with the process. Many people do not realize that not all chemical peels will result in visible peeling. Low percentages of lactic or glycolic acid will not cause the skin to peel. However, if you desire to carefully erase layers of your problematic skin, then the salicylic peel is the way to go. The 20% salicylic peel will shed the top layer of the skin. As the old skin is sloughed off, the new, fresh, smoother skin underneath is revealed.  If you desire to remove dark marks, wrinkles, sun damage, enlarged pores, acne scars or rough skin texture, then this salicylic peel is the ideal choice.

The Most Effective Peel for Acne
Acne is formed when excessive oils and dead skin cells block the pores and encourage bacteria. Salicylic Acid penetrates the skin to remove all the dirt, dead skin cells, and sebum that have clogged the pores and caused unsightly acne. It cleanses the skin while providing superior exfoliation. As the salicylic destroys the debris, you will find that acne is eliminated and its chance of recurrence significantly reduced.

Will my Skin Peel?
If this is your first peel and your skin has a lot of accumulated dead skin cells and debris, then you should expect visible skin peeling from the 20%  Salicylic Acid peel. As you conduct additional peels in the future you may notice that there is less (or no) peeling as there is less dead skin and sebum to remove.

Directions…..Easy to Apply
This peel is designed for easy, at-home application. You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars at spas and medical offices to get the benefits of a chemical peel. A detailed instructional brochure, with easy to follow directions is included in each box.

DIRECTIONS

1. Cleanse the treatment area

2. Apply the chemical peel and leave on for the recommended time

3. Rinse the treatment area with cold water (you do not need to use a neutralizer with salicylic acid. It is a BHA so it is self-neutralizing)

4. Apply moisturizer

5. Use sunscreen

  1. Did Not Lighten Skin. Did Not Move Scars

Posted by Brenda on 8th Mar 2017

I had very high hopes this would finally be the answer to what I was looking for but was a bit disappointed that this didn't work on my scars and it didn't whiten my skin. I wouldn't recommend this product

  2. Awesom Results after Few Treatments

Posted by Brandon on 31st Mar 2015

was somewhat skeptical when I bought this product but I've been impressed with the results. After using it 3-4 times a week my skin is much smoother and more clear. Once I left it on my face for slightly longer than usual and as a result my skin had a light peeling about two days later. It works and is more affordable than a dermatology treatment.

  3. Shrinks Pores

Posted by Ingrid A on 31st Mar 2015

My pores, acne scars, and blemishes are significantly decreased with consistent use of this product once a week. I've been using it for well over 6 months now and this little bottle lasts a long time, considering you need very little of it.

  4. Takes a Long Time to Peel But Great Product!

Posted by Frederic on 28th Mar 2015

I thought I would start peeling right after applying this serum but it takes about seven days from the day you use the peel to the day the peeling is complete, so allow a week and a half if you're using it before a big event. I usually apply it on a Wednesday or Thursday so that most of the peeling takes place over the weekend. Don't apply right before walking out the door, as you'll have an hour or two of redness. Over time, definitely cleared up my skin.

  5. Fulfilled Expectations

Posted by Hillary on 24th Mar 2015

it has kept my facial blemishes to a minimum, lightened up sun spots and people tell me my skin looks good after I use it. But be careful....start out less than a minute and let your skin get used to it.

  6. Answer to Adult Acne

Posted by Elena on 21st Mar 2015

The first time I used the salicylic acid peel, I followed the instructions and left it on only for a minute on only the areas with most breakouts. It was still very effective. I eventually started covering bigger areas for 3-5 minutes, and my breakouts are almost completely gone now only after 2 weeks of use.

As many people pointed out, it did make my skin peel a little. But only the areas that are supposed to peel because of healing process. When used on my healthy skin, it did not peel at all. Also, my skin did get red while the peel is on, but it went away after I rinsed with water.

Finally, although some reviewers seemed to be concerned that it doesn't come with a neutralizer, according to what I have read salicylic acid doesn't need a neutralizer because it is not an AHA it is an BHA.

  7. Bye Bye Acne!

Posted by Rinna on 17th Mar 2015

I saw drastic results after the first treatment. This is a miracle in a bottle. I started having trouble with acne about 4 years ago and during that time I tried everything I could think of.

This is the only thing that worked and after the third treatment you would never know I had trouble with acne. I would recommend this product to anyone who had a problem with acne.

  8. Strong Stuff and it Buuuurns but it Works!!!

    Posted by Jedi873 on 15th Mar 2015

I must admit this product is really good. It is strong though. It burns and you can clearly see your whiteheads/blackheads floating on the pores. You can gently rub them away. DO NOT use towel/face wipe. Just use your cleaned finger tip to gently rub them(white/blackheads) away so you won't damage your burned skin. It helps reduce the number of acnes and cystic acnes. Make sure you can take the burn feeling before you use it on your face.

  9. Prevents Breakouts

Posted by Shelly on 11th Mar 2015

I get really bad flare-ups from rosacea that only seem to get worse as I get older. This peel helps to keep them under control.

I’ve experimented with just about everything over the past 15 years and this has been really helpful. It’s a trade-off though since even though it brings down my flare-ups, the skin shedding can be embarrassing. I’m always checking the mirror to see how much dead skin is visible and trying to find ways to remove it without prematurely peeling off the skin that’s not ready to come off yet.

Given its price, it’s certainly worth a shot for those who have tried everything else without success.

  10. Removes Outer Layer of Skin

Posted by Vannessa on 5th Mar 2015

it does whats its supposed to; burns outer layer of skin to removie old damaged cells.
extremely potent, dont use more than once a week. keep a good moisturizer neaby. you will need it.
